Overview And Experience
McKenna Carr serves as our Director of Capital Relationships, facilitating fundraising and ensuring an exceptional investor experience for Shalehaven's investor base. She brings nearly a decade of experience across investment banking, growth equity, and relationship management.
McKenna began her career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, covering the media and communications sector. She then spent several years on the investment team at Beehouse, LLC, a public and private consumer-focused investment firm, where she worked closely with portfolio companies and the firm's investors. Most recently, McKenna spent four years at Standard Industries, a global industrial conglomerate, where she helped build the firm's external relationship and capital partnership function and later supported the company's capital markets activity. In this role, she developed and maintained relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and large institutional investment firms, working closely alongside executive leadership to align those relationships with the firm's strategic priorities.
McKenna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas A&M University's Mays Business School. A Dallas native, she recently returned home after almost a decade in New York City. She loves cheering on her Dallas sports teams and spends her free time golfing and trying new restaurants.
