Steve Kinard is a technology and energy executive currently serving as President of AI Innovation Association, with proven success in capital deployment and technological advancement. In Houston, he was part of a team that launched a new exploration and development company that deployed over $100 million to revitalize American oilfields through strategic technology adoption and disciplined financial management. At Bank of Texas, he served as Vice President of Energy Financial Services, with underwriting responsibilities covering a $1.5 Billion oil and gas lending portfolio.
Recently, Kinard ran for Texas State Representative House District 70 in Collin County, earning key endorsements from Governor Greg Abbott and Senator Ted Cruz. Despite being a first-time candidate against an incumbent, he secured over 34,000 votes and was elected as a delegate to the 2024 Republican National Convention. His campaign focused on education freedom and prosperity through energy abundance.
He holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BA in International Studies from Texas A&M University, and resides in Richardson, Texas.
